Responsibilities
- Transportation & Road Safety (50%): Maintain defensive driving techniques, take into account weather, road conditions, and potential risks, and ensure passenger safety and punctuality.
- Car Upkeep (15%): Make sure everything is clean and working, conduct daily pre- and post-trip checks, and report any mechanical problems, malfunctions, or damages right away.
- Reporting incidents and security (10%): Follow security procedures and be aware of the hazards to your safety when traveling.
- Documentation & Logs (10%): Keep thorough logbooks that include trip information, including locations and any incidents. For cost effectiveness and accountability, keep track of fuel usage, maintenance, and repair data.
- 15% Logistical Support: Safely loading and unloading products, equipment, and supplies while offering logistical assistance when needed.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- A high school diploma or a trade school certificate
- A current driver’s license in the appropriate category
- Training in First Aid
Professional Experience:
- Three years of experience transporting passengers while driving for a company
- Demonstrated familiarity with safe driving techniques and auto maintenance
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of auto repair
- Knowledge of traffic safety regulations
- Strong verbal communication abilities
- Physically capable of prolonged sitting, field mobility, and lifting objects weighing 30 to 50 pounds
- Capacity to navigate with road maps and GPS
