Contract Terms

• Ten (10) years contract for Tanzanians

Minimum Entry Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration/Commerce (majoring in Accountancy or Finance) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Professional qualification: CPA (T), ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent recognized by NBAA.
• At least four (4) years of working experience in a relevant field.

Duties and Responsibilities

As an Accountant I (Cost Accounting), you will:

• Collect cash and cheques, and pay authorized petty cash.
• Reconcile cash balances regularly.
• Prepare revenue accounts documentation.
• Dispatch voucher lists to relevant Heads of Sections.
• Batch payment vouchers in line with the cashbook.
• Maintain the Petty Cash Book and Register.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Record all financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
