Minimum Entry Qualifications
- Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE)
- Certificate in an aviation-related course (required)
- Knowledge of the aviation industry and airport ground support facilities (added advantage)
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Ramp Assistant II, you will:
- Gather, input, and process all data and documentation required for safe and secure aircraft turn-around, including weather reports, NOTAMs, LDM, PSM, cargo, mail, DGR, GPU, ASU, fuel, catering, and crew change.
- Conduct pre-arrival inspections, including aircraft footprint hazard/FOD checks.
- Lead the turn-around process by ensuring equipment, resources, and services are in place for safe and timely operations.
- Ensure effective communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate secure customer disembarkation and boarding in line with local procedures.
- Report any faults or irregularities in equipment, systems, facilities, or processes to management, airport authority, or crew.
- Respond promptly to disruptions, delays, or emergency situations.
- Manage aircraft offloading and loading procedures.
- Perform accurate load reconciliation in compliance with guidelines and manuals.
- Communicate aircraft movement messages and delay codes; assist with disruption management.
- Assist in preparing RC reports and ensuring proper completion and filing of RC checklists.
- Perform any other official duties as assigned by your supervisor.
