Responsibilities
Discuss business requirements with the business users and other stakeholders for solution designing.
- Recognize business and IT requirements, then critically evaluate them to find the best solution.
- Compile the prerequisites needed for the particular change request.
- Examine the suggested business plan for the solution and offer guidance on how to implement it correctly within the parameters of the system.
- Examine current user journeys across all platforms and suggest modifications to include smooth and successful customer-centric user journeys.
- Facilitate effective communication with all parties involved in the transformation.
- Collaborating closely with product teams in order to provide improved solutions.
Solution Designing
- Make sure the necessary data is recorded and record the data flow.
- Record appropriate data validation for inputs from customers.
- Create and record the reports that will be taken out of the solution.
- Create the technical path and each step’s milestone.
- Make sure the client journey is well communicated.
- Make sure the solution is made for every channel that meets the requirements.
- Before submitting the solution for approval, give the business stakeholder a tour of it.
Handling Operations
- Make appropriate plans for system modifications.
- Handle the change request from start to finish.
- Participate in and follow the procedures of the Change Approval Board for every modification that is proposed.
- Keep track of and report any changes made to the Airtel Money systems.
- Support and monitor every incident that occurs.
- Assure Airtel Money systems’ availability, stability, dependability, and integrity.
- During the maintenance window, assist with scheduled activities.
- Arrange the archiving, reorganization, and database purging tasks.
- To reduce the likelihood of system disruptions brought on by several conflicting modifications, proactively organize actions by setting up stakeholder alignment (Zebra meeting).
- Support for any solution’s User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT).
- Give NOC Operations a walkthrough and handover of every newly introduced service.
Support Projects
- Collect requirements for new reports that must be implemented.
- Assist the project team in making sure CRs and UATs are completed on schedule.
- Examine work products (papers and code), plan, and accomplish phase containment in accordance with project standards.
- Efficient resource management (track and monitor project progress, anticipate problems and concerns).
- Offer assistance in the launch or campaign of new products.
Manage Client/Partner Relationship
- To guarantee that corporate goals are fulfilled, effectively manage and assist IT internal clients.
- To guarantee that reports are delivered to the agreed-upon quality and SLA, effectively manage the Airtel partners on audit-related demands.
- Oversee and assist external partners and make sure their needs regarding Airtel Money are met.
- Discusses and resolves issues about integration gaps with important stakeholders.
- Communicate with Airtel’s vendors and partners for upgrades and in the event of any significant problems to guarantee seamless operations.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications & Functional Skills:
- Possessing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software, computer engineering, ICT, or electronics.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in Oracle, DB2, Postgres, MySQL, and SQL.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in developing and integrating APIs (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
- Knowledgeable and skilled in scripting and programming languages (Java, PHP, JS, etc.).
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Project management abilities.
Relevant Experience
- Three to five years of experience in a comparable position, ideally in the banking or telecom IT departments.
- Familiarity with an IT environment in banking or telecommunications.
- Able to function in an organization that is performance-driven.
- Familiarity with and technical understanding of the newest services and technologies utilized in the sector and related sectors.
- Outstanding Excel and data analytic abilities.
