Position: Fuel Bay Attendant – Bulyanhulu Gold Mine

Overview:
Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is seeking to recruit a Fuel Bay Attendant to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will embody Barrick’s core values, including integrity, accountability, zero harm, and commitment to building a sustainable legacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend all compulsory safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Ensure safe measuring, receiving, and issuing of fuel and lubricants.
  • Comply with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Properly receive and issue fuel and lubricants as per company standards.
  • Accurately record dips, receipts, and fuel/lubricant issuance.
  • Receive and transfer fuel to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of fuel stations at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate supply.
  • Report any fuel leaks, spills, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for all fuel transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid Form IV (Ordinary Level Certificate).
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience working in a similar industry or role.
  • Hold a valid Tanzania Driving License.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Swahili (written and verbal).
  • Ability to understand and manage fuel handling systems and related interfaces.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
