Contract Terms

  • Ten (10) years contract for Tanzanians

Minimum Entry Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Form IV Certificate with four credit passes, including English.
  • Ab-Initio Certificate from a recognized aviation institution or equivalent, plus a valid Cabin Crew Member Certificate issued by TCAA.
  • Arm reach of 212cm while standing.
  • Acceptable Body Mass Index (BMI).
  • No visible tattoos while in Air Tanzania crew uniform.
  • Chinese Language Certificate (HSK 4/Intermediate B2) from a recognized institution.
  • Must meet Cabin Crew Member Manual requirements when applicable.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Chinese-Speaking Cabin Crew, you will:

  • Ensure the safety, security, comfort, and welfare of passengers and crew members during cabin operations.
  • Strictly follow policies and regulations to complete duties assigned by the Purser/Senior Crew.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service according to ATCL’s in-cabin standards.
  • Support on-time performance and smooth cabin operations.
  • Act as a liaison between Chinese-speaking passengers and flight crew.
  • Maintain proper use and handover of in-flight catering items and equipment.
  • Ensure cabin operations comply with aviation regulations and ATCL procedures.
  • Report all flight incidents to the Purser/Senior Cabin Crew Member.
  • Adapt to changes in roster/duty schedules as required.
  • Assist Purser/Senior in addressing passenger complaints promptly.
  • Oversee safety, service, and scheduling procedures.
  • Collect passenger feedback and provide recommendations to Purser/Senior Cabin Crew Member.
