On behalf of the e-Government Authority (e-GA), President’s Office, Public Service Recruitment Secretariat invites qualified Tanzanians to fill eleven (11) vacant posts described below.
Open Positions and Description
1. ICT Officer Grade II (Systems Administration) – 1 Post
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce database reports when requested.
- Ensure high availability of systems and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, IS, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of Linux/Unix and virtualization technologies.
- Experience operating large server infrastructure.
2. ICT Officer Grade II (Business Analyst) – 1 Post
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document business processes and translate into functional specifications.
- Participate in system design, prototyping, and deployment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Ability to translate business requirements into software solutions.
- Knowledge of project management practices.
3. ICT Officer Grade II (Security Management) – 1 Post
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement ICT security policies and procedures.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of ICT security standards and risk management.
- Certification in CEH, CISSP, CISM, or related field is an added advantage.
4. ICT Officer Grade II (Standards and Compliance) – 1 Post
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain e-Government Standards and Guidelines.
- Conduct compliance audits and prepare reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with frameworks like COBIT, ISO/IEC 27000.
- Knowledge of e-Government standards is an added advantage.
5. ICT Officer Grade II (Helpdesk) – 1 Post
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level ICT technical support to Public Institutions.
- Analyze helpdesk activities and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong ICT problem-solving and customer support skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL or PMP is an added advantage.
6. ICT Officer Grade II (Data Analyst) – 1 Post
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze data to discover patterns and trends.
- Design and deploy BI tools and dashboards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, IT, or related field.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis.
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau is an added advantage.
