Perform and certify all inspection, repair, and replacement work on aircraft and aircraft systems within his or her dual scope of approval in compliance with TCAA and corporate policies at a cost that is as economical as possible for the company while maintaining strict safety standards to preserve schedule integrity.
Responsibility:
- Utilizing the license/approval rights in connection with the completion of planned, unplanned, and defect-rectification maintenance in order to guarantee that the operating program is conducted safely and effectively and that maintenance is completed to the necessary standards.
- For the timely release of aircraft to preserve schedule integrity, certificates of release to service must be recorded and issued for work completed in compliance with current maintenance data, company policies, and related regulatory requirements.
- To ensure the safe and timely release of aircraft within scheduled downtime for ongoing airworthiness, perform line/base maintenance, defect assessments, troubleshooting, and rectification in compliance with business and manufacturer procedures.
- Reviewing the work and resources allotted and necessary to guarantee that errors are quickly fixed with the help of the staff members assigned.

Qualification Required:
- The ICAO type II license, often known as EASA B2, has the type ratings ATR 42/72.
- Dual LWTR plus clearance for a minimum of one type of aircraft
- Experience in a base or line maintenance setting
- Recent experience with ATR 72/42 and at least six months of certification records within the previous two years are required (a signed/stamped logbook and/or verification letter will be required).
- A degree or diploma in the appropriate engineering field
- Thorough understanding of aircraft systems
- Techniques for inspection and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of computer programs
- Familiar with the TCAA rules
- Knowledge of human factors
