The Permanent Secretary of the President’s Office of Public Service Management and Good Governance issued a new work permit for the position of Driver II (9 postings) to the Mtwara-Mikindani Municipal Council on April 29, 2025, with reference number FA.97/228/01/A/25.
In order to fill the jobs listed below, the Director of Mtwara-Mikindani Municipality announces these job openings and requests applications from all eligible Tanzanians.
Open Positions and Description
1. Driver II – 9 Positions
In order to be hired, the candidate must possess a valid Class E or C driver’s license, a Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV), training certificates that qualified them for the corresponding license classes, and at least one (1) year of accident-free driving experience. They needed to have taken a Basic Driving Course provided by a Vocational Training Center (VETA) or another government-approved organization.

General Applicant Conditions:
Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 with no criminal record. Applications must include academic certificates, verified copies (Form IV, VI, and other relevant qualifications), a detailed CV with contact details and three referees, and a signed cover letter addressed to:
