All positions are based in Dar es Salaam and mode of engagement is fulltime for a period of six (6) months.
Open Positions and Description
1. Computer Systems Analyst (Generalist) – 1Post
Job Summary
To preserve, safeguard, and improve our IT infrastructure, we are looking for a computer analyst with a focus on system administration.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree with honors in computer science, information technology, or a similar discipline.
- Strong background in system administration, including networking and Linux/Windows servers.
- Ability to manage databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Competence with cloud systems (AWS/Azure), VMware, and Active Directory.
- Strong scripting abilities in Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Familiarity with the foundations of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls).
- Candidates with two or more years of Windows/Linux system management experience will have an edge.
2. Computer Analyst – Database & Programming – Post
To improve our data architecture, automate processes, and guarantee optimal system performance, we are looking for a computer analyst with expertise in database administration, programming, and system optimization.
Qualifications:
- Upper-class bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar discipline.
- Proficiency with SQL, database tuning, and Python/Shell scripting.
- Any knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Java,.Net, etc., with an emphasis on scripting and automation.
- Practical knowledge of managing a Linux or Windows server.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and data security.
- It is advantageous for applicants to have two or more years of database administration and system management expertise.
3. Accounts Intern – 2 Posts
Data entry, document filing, accounts reconciliations, basic financial report preparation, daily financial transaction recording into accounting systems, and bank and member account reconciliations are just a few of the daily accounting duties that the Accounts Intern will assist the Finance and Accounts Department with.
Qualifications:
- possessing a bachelor’s degree with an upper second class or above in accounting, commerce, or business administration.
- Candidates with ACCA or CPA(T) professional credentials who are registered with the NBAA will have an advantage.
- It is advantageous for applicants to have two or more years of accounting or financial expertise.
4. Credit Intern – 1 Post
Throughout the loan management cycle, the Credit Department Intern will assist the Credit team with loan application evaluation, disbursement, collection, and recovery, among other phases.
Qualifications:
- Possessing an upper second class or higher bachelor’s degree in banking, statistics, economics, finance, commerce, or business administration with a finance concentration.
- It is advantageous for applicants to have two or more years of accounting or financial expertise.
5. Member Services Intern – 1 Post
The intern will be in charge of creating and carrying out all-encompassing marketing plans that raise TRA SACCOS’ profile, advertise services, draw in new members, and aid in keeping hold of current ones.
Qualifications:
- A marketing bachelor’s degree with at least an upper second class degree.
- Marketing expertise, ideally from cooperatives, membership-based groups, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of social media marketing and other marketing methods.
6. Human Resources Intern – 1 Post
The HR Manager will receive administrative support from the Human Resources Intern. Assisting with HR operations, employee interactions, record administration, and other daily administrative duties is part of the job description.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree with at least an upper second class in public administration or human resource management.
- Strong multitasking and organizing abilities.
- Strong knowledge of general office administration, labor regulations, and HR procedures.
General Candidate Requirements
All candidates should:
- Have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Possess excellent writing and verbal communication abilities in both Kiswahili and English.
- Possess the capacity for individual work, time management, and initiative.
- Possess the ability to think creatively and solve problems.
- Not older than thirty years.
